Programs for every Age
Ages 4 and Up
This class is designed to motivate and stimulate you or your child a while discovering the mysteries and rewards of learning and instrument.
We will guide you or your child through the basics of keyboarding and teach them strategies for learning the keyboard geography, rhythm, and performance.
Students will learn the fundamentals such as note reading, major and minor scales, arpeggios, and simple pieces of music.
Learning will build within a 12 week session.
Ages 10 and Up
Our brains naturally navigate towards what we assume is the easiest way to accomplish any given task.
If you struggle to learn music, if you can’t hear music you’ve never played or heard in your “mind’s ear,” and if you can’t recognize essential harmonies, then you’re missing the most cruicial aspect of learning music: Listening and Ear Training. This is the key to learning to playing any instrument.
Yearly Recital Program
After a year in business, Sound Mind School of the Arts held it's first recital entitled, "SMSA Showcase." This program featured students who played pieces they learned in their piano sessions as well as vocal students.
With over 300 people in attendance all of the students did an awesome job! Certificates were awarded to the students for the milestone achieved having completed their course at SMSA.
